Who We Are

A Resort That Respects Its Surroundings

High View Waters was conceived with a single idea in mind: that a premium holiday resort and a pristine natural environment do not have to be at odds. Every decision made in designing and building this place, from the layout of the grounds to the facilities on offer, was guided by the landscape around it.

The result is a resort that genuinely feels like it belongs here. River frontage along one edge. Six acres of native bushwalking forest along another. In between: clean, generous spaces designed for families who want more than a hotel room and a car park.

We are located on Merool Lane, Moama, just minutes across the Murray from the heritage port town of Echuca. Easy to reach from Melbourne or Sydney, and very difficult to leave.

The Setting

Six Acres of Living, Breathing Native Forest

The bushwalking forest at High View Waters spans six full acres of native Australian bush. Paths wind through eucalypts, banksias, and understorey plants that shelter a remarkable variety of native birdlife and wildlife. You do not need to go looking for nature here. It comes to you.

The forest connects directly to the resort's wildlife lake, where mornings bring mist, birdcall, and the occasional kangaroo at the waterline. It is the kind of morning that reminds you why you came.

Beyond the Gates

Walk to the Wineries

One of High View Waters' most distinctive features is its walking access to local wineries, including Morrisons Winery. You can leave the resort on foot, follow the trail, and be tasting wines within a short stroll. No car, no designated driver, no rush.

The Echuca-Moama region has quietly built a reputation as one of inland Australia's most enjoyable wine and food destinations. Having it on your doorstep is one of those details that turns a good holiday into a memorable one.
